We’re excited to share one of our biggest outdoor projects yet – bringing the legendary Morgane to life for Puy du Fou’s L'Épée du Roi Arthur show. This project was born to enchant: art, engineering and storytelling come together to create a theatrical spectacle based on precision mechanics — and hundreds of moving pieces.
206 custom-designed actuated modules, to be more precise. Each powered by a linear actuator with a 70cm travel range. That’s what it took to create a 12-square meter moving tower capable of lifelike motion and withstanding the demands of outdoor performance conditions.

Artistic vision and precision engineering
At the heart of it all? Leva’s proprietary motion control platform, orchestrating the synchronised movement of every single actuator. This way, the fluid, complex animations integrated seamlessly into the show’s narrative, enhancing the audience’s immersion in the Arthurian legend and making Morgane appear almost alive.
A face like no other, this kinetic installation is the latest expression of Leva’s ability to combine advanced technology, emotional design, and visual wonder.

The Morgane sorceress appears to materialise under the eyes of millions of visitors.
Visual wonder for a wider audience
Unlike many other Leva projects, this one’s not exclusive. This kinetic sculpture was made for everyone to enjoy and it is now a permanent installation of L'Épée du Roi Arthur show, enchanting visitors and elevating the spectacle with its striking combination of technology and myth.
POV: On the future of live shows
As generative artificial intelligence algorithms progress to render each and every digital experience more accessible and common, the way we perceive these experiences alters. When everything is within reach, when every online experience – from social media to videos, from film to audio production – becomes standard, it feels less special, less exclusive. Less worth it.
This, in turn, will drive the need for unique, live experiences – shared with other people, impossible to replicate, bound to the present moment. They will go beyond mere entertainment, becoming opportunities to bond and meet, to share and live a performance that touches on the mind, the soul and the body. Much like an ode to the present moment.
